Gertie Wilson leads W Public Affairs as President and Lead Lobbyist. For more than 20 years she has worked the Texas Capitol: the members, the staff, the agencies, and the process. She represents clients before the Legislature, state agencies, executive offices, and in Washington across aerospace, emerging technology, telecommunications, health care, water, and energy. She also serves as Vice Chair of the Texas Aerospace Partnership and is known for trusted relationships, practical strategy, and seeing every job through.
She is joined by partner lobbyist and former Texas State Senator Kip Averitt, whose two decades in the Legislature, including chairing the Senate Committee on Natural Resources and authoring landmark water legislation, deepen the firm's work on appropriations and regulated industries.
